Thank you for your interest in Superior Timber Homes. We would like to put up as many square timber homes as possible because they are so unique, but we also build other types of homes as well. Full round logs, half log siding, cedar siding, conventional homes with log accents, we also do all the staining, complete sealing, and caulking plus chinking on all our homes.
We build and expedite the home right from the ground up to the roof, with all finished carpentry and mechanicals. I even build log furniture, beds, tables, mantels, and all types of log, cedar and character railings. I have even built log pool tables. I think my wife is trying to keep me busy.
Today many people are handy, plus have friends and relatives in the trades to help with many aspects of building a home. That's why we do dry ins and complete homes. We can do as much as you want or as little with call backs later in the project. I try to get the best price possible without adding any percent like other builders to the costs. I do however make some money on the log or sq. timber package because I'm a dealer. We even keep our labor in balance the best we can because we want to keep working and have our customers feel good, just like we do of the job we do.
In the last 15 years I've built 4 sq. timber homes, 5 log homes, did specialty work on 26 others, stained 17, caulked 14 and built 6 conventional homes with log accent. All our homes are so pretty and so many are one of a kind. They run from $105.00 per sq. up to $280.00 per sq. foot for the complete turnkey with allowances in place for plumbing, heating, electric, concrete, doors, windows etc. The full round log homes are higher per sq. ft. because of all the different log sizes, manufactures, and their different log packages.
